Dear friends,

As part of our ongoing effort to ensure greater engagement across the Movement and reflect on recent updates of interest for National Scout Organizations (NSOs), WOSM invites the leadership of NSOs to register for the upcoming virtual NSO Town Hall. The town hall programme will feature inspiring Scout stories from across our Movement, panel discussions to share progress updates on the implementation of the World Triennial Plan 2021-2024, as well as opportunities for questions and answers.

Coinciding with the International Youth Day, the NSO Town Hall will take place from 12:00 to 13:30 GMT on 14 August 2022. Each NSO can appoint a maximum of 10 people from its national leadership to attend the event, which will be held using the Zoom video conferencing platform. Interpretation will be available in French, Arabic, Russian, and Spanish.

To ensure smooth and secure registration, we kindly ask International Commissioners or Official Key Contacts to appoint their NSO’s representatives by filling in the registration form. The deadline for registration is Friday, 12 August 2022. Please note that we will only accept appointments made by International Commissioners or NSO Official Key Contacts listed in the World Scout Directory.

Once a registration request is verified, each approved individual will receive confirmation, as well as a personal and non-transferable link, sent to the email address listed in the registration form.

If you need support with your NSO’s registration to join the virtual NSO Town Hall, please contact us our event’s team at events@scout.org.

Yours in Scouting,

Ahmad Alhendawi

Secretary General

World Organization of the Scout Movement
