Activation of APR Correspondents Network

Greetings!
For decades, sharing information and exchanging practices have been vital in advancing our unity and growth as a Region. Today, we are happy to inform National Scout Organizations that we are reenergizing our communication practices by activating the APR Correspondents Network.
Having APR Correspondents in NSOs is part of our long time tradition. Some NSOs continue to assign correspondents while other NSOs are now encouraged to appoint their qualified representative to the network. APR Correspondents are Scouts or Scout Leaders nominated by their NSO as regular contributors to the regional media, dedicated to the exchange of information on Scouting events and activities, projects, news, including good practices about Scouting in their countries.
For this purpose, we request National Scout Organizations to nominate their APR correspondent/s until 16 September 2022. For NSOs whose correspondent is actively engaged, we simply encourage renewal of appointment. The term is for two years, renewable. NSOs can appoint up to two members.
APR Correspondents must have the following qualifications:
• Scout or Scout Leader, volunteer or full-time staff, who is in good standing with the NSO
• 18 years old and above
• Must have the ability to communicate and write in English
• Must have keen interest in telling and sharing Scout stories
• Working knowledge in photography and capturing videos
Attached is the Correspondents Guide as reference for the correspondents. The guide outlines the role of APR Correspondents, what they are expected to contribute, and the benefits they get as a member. The guide is to be used internally by Correspondents until its official launch sometime in September.
Please find and accomplish the nomination form not later than 16 September 2022 using this link: https://forms.office.com/r/YfdeeqRx4j.
