APR Partnerships Forum

We are glad to announce that the Asia-Pacific Region is organizing the APR Partnership Forum in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This event is part of the APR Plan 2022-2025 under the Communications and External Relations strategic priority with the objective of disseminating and activating strategic partnerships in the Region through supporting our National Scout Organizations (NSOs) to develop and manage partnerships.
This workshop will be a learning and networking avenue for all interested participants to ensure operationalizing new and existing partnerships, manage partnerships, and share the best practices of partnerships of our NSOs.
Here are the details of the Forum:
Dates: 25-28 May 2023, arrival on 24th and departure on 29th May
Delivery Mode and Venue: In-person at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Registration Fee: USD250.00 per participant to cover accommodation (twin sharing), food for the workshop duration, airport reception, transfer from airport to venue and back, educational tour within workshop, and materials
Aim and Learning Objectives of the Forum
This forum is aimed at enhancing skills on strategic partnerships and partnership management for NSOs in the Region. It also aims to share best practices of NSOs within the Region.
At the end of the forum, participants will be able to:

Take the opportunity to forge commitments, re-commitments, and coordination among
NSOs and between NSOs and partner organizations.

Know more about opportunities for partnership and best practices, especially from those
who have created impact in different areas.

Create communities of practice to network, share resources, tools and knowledge to
further expand partnerships in the light of WOSM's Partnership Development Guide.
Target Participants
We expect to gather national and sub-national level participants from NSOs across the Asia-Pacific Region engaged with partnership, fundraising and resource mobilization, donor management, and others that are in relation to partnership such as relationship management. The forum shall also invite partners to attend as resource persons or participants.
NSOs are encouraged to promote this event within their national and sub-national networks, and to submit the name of their participants by 28 February 2023 using the attached reply slip.
