Greetings from the Asia-Pacific Support Centre!

We are pleased to inform you that the Asia-Pacific Region is organizing the “RIO: Lets Go Forward” webinar on 22 October 2022 from 16:00H to 20:00H (GMT +8).

This event is being organized in connection with the APR Plan 2022 – 2055 under the strategic priority of youth engagement. The aim of the event is to organize a webinar to highlight that Scouting is a leading provider of non-formal education and promote the key idea that Scouting, contributes to education, developing young people to think both locally and globally, through non-formal learning.

The objectives of the event, are as follows:

•       Review the Rio Declaration

•       Recognize and celebrate for what we achieved so far

•       Determine an agreed action plan for the Asia Pacific Region to embed the Rio declaration

•       The way we go - next actions

The following NSO leadership (volunteers or professional in the National level) is encourage to attend this event:

2. International Commissioner

3. Secretary General/ Chief Scout Executive

4. National Programme Commissioners

5. National Training Commissioners

6. ALL Leaders responsible for topics related to education (youth programme, adults in Scouting, unit leader training, age sections, diversity, community development, etc.)
