Successful launch of the "Golondrinas" or Brownie section Manual

On Saturday, June 27, the Association of Girl Guides and Scouts of Chile brought forward the spring to receive the Manual for the Golondrinas or Bownies section, a non-formal education method guide for adult animators who work with girls between the ages of 7 and 11.

Chile, unlike other countries in the region, has the "Golondrinas" or brownies section for young girls and is parallel to Cub Scouting. Golondrinas in Spanish is a little bird, their favorite season of the year is spring and that is why they decided to launch of the Brownie section Manual as part of the celebration.

With hundreds of people connected live and more than 10 thousand reproductions, the launch of this Manual was a success for the institution, since it closes the publication process of all the method guides for adult animators. Without a doubt this tool will help work with girls who today continue to live their activities Saturday to Saturday online.

This milestone, having had a great online launch and achieving a connection at the national level, reinforces the work that the Association of Girl Guides and Scouts of Chile is carrying out with its extensive programming of various online transmissions for all kinds of audiences.

Those who wish to relive this moment can do so at www.facebook.com/agsch and download the Golondrinas Branch Manual at www.guiasyscoutsdechile.cl
